1. Do we collect information from you to use or register on our site?
Registration for Zui.com is not required. Kids can use and enjoy the site anonymously. However, we do provide the option of registering so that users can store favorite content and get access to additional features. If a child chooses to register on Zui.com, we ask for a limited amount of information, such as a user name, password, and parent email address. Once a child is registered, we use this information to:
- allow kids to save avatars created on the site;
- allow kids to store favorites and save content for easy viewing later;
- enable kids to add friends within the system (based on usernames only), and then share Zui content with those friends (note: there is no open messaging within Zui); and,
- keep parents informed about their child’s account, including sending out password reset emails (when requested) and news updates from Zui.com;
2. What types of community or social features do we offer you on our site and how do we keep these areas safe?
The award-winning Zui.com does not allow for open messaging between its users, nor does it allow for the use of third party social networks for children under the age of 13. For those Zui.com users 13 and older, we may provide the ability to post to or share via Facebook and Twitter as a means of convenience.
While Zui.com does allow its users to “rate” content, we do not currently provide users the ability to upload user- generated content to the site.
We also offer a blog accessible from Zui.com, although this feature is mainly intended for parents and pre-moderates all user comments before they are published.
3. Do we offer other features on our site that ask you to provide information?
We do ask users to provide us with information to help improve the overall experience of the site. We do so by providing the ability for users to send us feedback and suggestions through a widget form. We do not ask for any personal information on this form.
Additionally, on occasion, we may run contests or polls created by us or by third-party partners and/or advertisers. In the event that we collect and store any personal information as part of these activities, we will first ask for parental permission (if necessary).
4. Do we collect information from you using cookies or other web technologies?
Zui.com uses technologies, including cookies, to help make the site faster and easier for kids to use. For example, we may use cookies to “cache” (i.e., remember) content for users. We also use cookies to track anonymous activity regarding the use of our site so we can feature the most popular content within the site. We do not link such activity to individual users, unless those users register for an account.
Zui.com uses third-party analytics software which tracks IP addresses to provide us with information such as the geographic origin of our users, the number of unique users who access the site, and other site navigation information. To opt-out from this type of tracking, please use the links below:

If we store any information you give us during registration, this information in stored in secure operating environments, which include the use of firewall-protected servers. We also limit access to your account information to employees who have a need to know, and require users to login with their unique login details (i.e., username and password) before granting them access to their account.
Despite these measures, no method of security is 100 percent secure and therefore we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.
8. What types of parental controls do we offer parents?

Please note that if you deactivate your child’s account or delete the parent email address associated with your child’s account, these actions may result in the permanent termination of your child’s account, as well as any points or achievements earned under that account.
